Weekly Money Check-Up
1. The most I’ve spent this last week was on gas for our vehicles. We spent $220 last week! We couldn't carpool for the first days of my new job because I had orientation. Plus we went out of town on the weekend. Our gas consumption should go down next month.
2. Today I feel excited towards money. It is almost the new year and I am excited to plan out our goals for 2011. I am already looking forward to starting a new Quicken workbook.
3. Money can’t buy happiness. One free/inexpensive thing I did last week that made me happy was had a Grey's Anatomy marathon on my couch. Love that show.
4. I will consider this week a success if I get the house cleaned. What a mess.
5. My favorite holiday treat is puppy chow (muddy buddies).

Weekly Money Check-Up
The Weekly Money Check-Up courtesy of My Pretty Pennies.
1. The most I’ve spent this last week was on groceries. We hosted Thanksgiving at our house this year which cost quite a bit extra. I didn't realize how much it costs to cook a turkey!
2. Today I feel excited towards money. I always get excited at the beginning of the month. It just seems like a fresh start that wipes away any bad mistakes from the month before.
3. Money can’t buy happiness. One free/inexpensive thing I did last week that made me happy was read a book. I have really been into The Hunger Games series lately.
4. I will consider this week a success if I just relax. I start my new job next week and I am just trying not to be nervous and enjoy the down time. It will be awhile before I am able to take vacation so I need to just enjoy this!
5. My favorite holiday song is undecided. I will admit, I love just about any holiday music!

Weekly Money Check-Up
Participating in the Weekly Money Check-Up over at My Pretty Pennies.
1. The most I’ve spent this last week was on the vet. Red was due for shots and both Red and Pennie had a flea outbreak. Ugh.
2. Today I feel hopeful towards money. We totally blew the budget earlier this month, but I feel like we are both committed to getting things back on track.
3. Money can’t buy happiness. One free/inexpensive thing I did last week that made me happy was visit with friends.
4. I will consider this week a success if I avoid Black Friday sales.
5. My favorite food at Thanksgiving is stuffing.

Weekly Money Check-Up
1. The most I’ve spent this last week was on a couch and loveseat. Really though, what haven't we spent money on lately?
2. Today I feel anxious towards money. Our CC bill is a little high this month because we purchased new couches. We have the money saved to pay it off when the bill comes but it still makes me anxious knowing we have that debt out there.
3. Money can’t buy happiness. One free/inexpensive thing I did last week that made me happy was read a book. I love the library!
4. I will consider this week a success if I get the house cleaned.
5. I am afraid of starting my new job. The first day is always the worst. I hate not knowing the little things, like where the bathroom is.
